My students will make a clock to practice the time with their classmates. I will provide them with the required materials.                                                                                       

UNIT No: 11 - Title: IT´S RAINING ON THE ISLANDS!

Session 4.

Final task: This is my weather map.

Make a weather map. I will present eight relevant cities in the United Kingdom and 

Ireland ( London,Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Dublin and 

Manchester ) on a map. I will pronounce them as well as putting emphasis on their 

spelling. Later, I will provide them with a blank map of the islands.Firstly, they will

write the names of the cities on it and secondly, they will give each city a different 

weather ( weather pictures will be placed on the map ) and finally, in pairs they will 

build sentences according to what they chose on the map.

Session 4. 

Final task: Make a leaflet about health with useful information                  

I will ask children to collect pictures and information related to illnesses from different sources such as newspapers, magazine ads, websites...as homework in the second session, so they will have enough time. In the classroom, I will provide some explanations on the BB to carry out the Final Task.

Session 4.

Final task: This is my big Solar system                                                           
I will explain what to do on the BB, different types of orbits. I will give them the astronomical objects ( Sun, planets, the Moon, comets, asteroids etc ) on sheets to cut out. They are welcome to improvise other elements for their Solar Systems. They will work in pairs.
